When Sean Venus decided to make a barrel aged gin, he created a completely independent batch with a botanical blend specifically chosen to pair with American oak. It rests for two months in the barrel, half in new oak and the other half in one-year-old 53 gallon, 3 char American oak. With a different approach in Blend No.02 in both flavor and appearance, this batch uses juniper, cardamom, orange, fennel, coriander, bay leaf, sage, and peppercorns. The aging gives it a mellow and creamy profile.
