Description
  • Valinch & Mallet's South Shore Islay 8 years Single Malt. If you were not familiar with the Independent bottler, you will be familiar with the distillery where the juice originated from, Lagavulin. Lagavulin never really puts out a single barrel under its own name, so this is one of the few chances we will have to try something like that! A snapshot if you may, of the Lagavulin distillery on that particular day.

Coming in at 48.8% abv, look for a sweet vanilla frosting nose. Along with a sight peat, salinity, butter cream and smoked meats. The palate will give its oak influence, along with more salted butter notes and a meaty body.
