• This tasty mezcal made by Master Mezcalero Romulo Sanchez Parada in the town Candelaria Yegole, Oaxaca, Mexico.

  Madre cuishe is a type of agave scientifically known as Karwinskii. These are different from other agaves because they have long stalks and oblong pinas. 

  The stalks are usually incorporated into the cooking and fermentation which also sets this mezcal apart from others. 

  Karwinskii mezcals tend to be on the dry side and slightly tannic.
