• This release from Ohishi is a blend of their Sherry and Brandy cask whiskeys that are finished in Sakura (cherry wood) casks for nine months sourced from local wood. This extra aging rounds out the final product, taming some of the sweetness of the sherry, and rounding out the edges that can pop out in rice whiskey. Fun fact: they use a method of organic farming that involves using koi fish to control the weeds in the rice paddy fields.
