• J.J. Corry was a renowned whiskey bonder on the West Coast of Ireland in the 1890's. He sourced his whiskey spirit from a local distillery and brought it home to mature in specially selected casks, so when the time was right he could serve it in his shop for the locals to enjoy. Louise McGaune has reintroduced J.J.'s way of doing things; she matures and blends whiskey on the McGaune family farm in County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland. She sources rare Irish Whiskeys and creates unique blends from select casks. 

  The Gael is her flagship release, named after a bicycle that J.J. invented in the 1890's. The Gael is a classic Irish Whiskey full of white stone fruit and lime with hints of minerality and pink peppercorns. The Gael is a 60% Malt 40% Grain blend, and is a blend of some of the Oldest Whiskies they have in stock. It is comprised of: 5% 26 Year Old Single Malt Ex-Sherry Butt, 27.5% 11 Year Old Single Malt, 27.5% 15 Year Old Single Malt, 40% 7 Year Old Single Grain. 46% ABV and non-chill filtered.
