• The makers of Green Spot have created an experimental finishing series called 'Wine Geese', referring to 16th century soliders who posted up in places like France and Italy, during wartime. The bottles in this series are 7-10 year old whiskey finished an extra year in wine barrels from wineries started by Irish immigrants. The Green Spot Chateau Montelena is finished in Zinfandel barrels, giving it it's pinkish hue.
