The Ghostwriter is about Santa Cruz and it’s many terroirs, old heritage vineyards, and the light, acid driven, pretty, perfumey style of wine that it is capable of. In early 2008, BrianWilkerson and Kenny Likitprakong took over the farming on two of old vineyard sites, the Woodruff Family Vineyard planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and The Aptos Creek Vineyard planted to Pinot Noir. They introduced sustainable farming to the vineyards and carried that through with natural winemaking in the cellar. This Pinot Noir has a light garnet color with a nose that is poised and balanced with aromas of wild strawberry, black cherry and black tea. Incredible freshness with a juicy, mouthwatering quality.
