Bruichladdich distillery was built in 1881 by the Harvey brothers. The Harvey’s were a dynastic whiskey family with over a century of distillery ownership. The Bruichladdich Islay Barley series celebrates the subtlety of terroir and highlights barley coming all from a single farm. The barley used in production came from Claggan, Cruach, Island and Mulindry farms. On the palate, malty sweet, cereal, honey, clean citrus, candied almonds, hints of toffee apple, nougat wafers and banana.
