  Decade is a carefully crafted blend of whiskeys distilled each year from 1995 to 2005 with secondary maturation in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks.

  ​​Following the success of last summer's award-winning Barrell Decade, we're excited to introduce the second release in the series. Crafted from the same barrels and using the same finishing techniques as Decade, Decade 2 clocks in at 141.3 proof and delivers a remarkably similar flavor profile, while bringing additional layers of dried fruit, spiced chocolate, and a more textured mouthfeel. Another exceptional Hazmat whiskey, it's poised to generate excitement once again.
   

  Why did we call this blend Decade?

  We started by selecting and blending barrels from 1995 with a specific flavor profile. We then selected and blended barrels for the nine subsequent years, each with their own flavor contributions forming a spectrum of nuanced variations over a decade.

  
  The secondary maturation in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks enriched the blend with layers of complexity - lush, syrupy fruit notes from the Spanish brandy casks and deep, warming highlights of toffee and cinnamon from the Hungarian oak.
