• We’re excited to be a part of Sagamore’s very first single barrel select program. This six year old rye is bottled at 110 proof, and is a blend of two mash bills, one high rye (95% rye, 5% barley) and one low rye (52% rye, the rest corn and barley). The two whiskeys are aged separately for six years, and in the barrel select process, they take 80% of the high rye whiskey and blend it with 20% low rye. Our barrel pick is extremely savory, with dill seed notes and a bit of pickle brine, followed by freshly baked pumpernickel bread.
